This travel startup, which provides online and printed guidebooks for homesharing hosts, has been a long running and fun project for Bob (who is the CTO) and Meli (who is the UX Designer). We're working with a great team in San Francisco and have been able to implement both a leading edge technology stack under Bob's leadership (docker-pheonix-react) and the material design specification under Meli's.
"Bob worked with us for 16 months and played an instrumental role in developing our minimum viable product. It has now grown to a feature rich product delivering tremendous value to our clients. Bob's ability to quickly grasp new technologies, design leading edge solutions, develop the features to a high standard and then support them in production helped us leverage our small team as effectively as possible and deliver great results for our clients."

Meli was tasked with pulling together a new marketing website for Hostfully when another designer pulled out after providing the initial wireframes. The marketing team, predominantly Margot, Angela & Silvia at that stage, had selected a colour palette, some video and images they liked as well as pages on similar sites that they thought would work well and drafted most of the copy/messaging. Meli helped the team get all their ideas into requirements and iterated on the design of the site to bring all their different ideas together in a cohesive and edgy design, then she built the site! All in about 2 weeks - and this included sampling video to play on mobiles, filtering videos so they’d work well together and all sorts of content complications that typically need to be resolved on a site like this.
This site has since been replaced (Figjam didn’t work on the current Hostfully site).

Meli worked with Heather to create her website in 2017. Heather is a story teller and Meli wanted her site to be an enticing journey through her massive catalog of works. Watch the video to see how animation and white space work together on this site.
When it was time for OSS to update their website we had a great time designing a new look and feel for their brand and implemented it on Squarespace. The project involved creating all the illustrations, sourcing the photographs and implementing the content in the right template.
Meli and Bob worked together developing a web application for Gravitas in Brisbane. This project involved taking a sophisticated but paper-based career development and planning process and developing a web application. Our roles on the project covered every aspect of product development from the initial UX design and system architecture right through to production support.
Both Bob and Meli worked with WeDrive to help develop their minimum viable product. Our roles on the project encompassed UX design for the mobile application and some parts of the web application, UI design & System design to automate key business processes for this startup. The product included a web application and a separate mobile application which was built using the Ionic framework.
Meli was the creative lead on this WordPress project to showcase artworks. Her role included the creative design, photography for background images, creating image collages, writing the copy and implementation in WordPress.
Bob has been working with MapJam since November 2014 to re-architect and refactor their original codebase into a robust API with extensive Google Maps integration.
